So what is the purpose of this site? Good question. You see, I love to take pictures and have for so many years. I have zillions of image files filling up countless hard drives and disc space. At some point I have to wonder, what is the point? My friends and family know how terrible I am at uploading and sharing and I really have tried to improve. Over the years I have tried various sites to upload photos to and some of those are linked on the home page. Finally, I decided to make my very own website and that is what you see now.

Really, I just want a place to post my photos so that  people like you can view them. Also,these photos become the visual diary of my photographic journey. When I meet strangers as I am out and about taking photos, I now have a place to point them to if they seem interested. I will make my own business cards. If you like one of my photos well enough and want to buy it, well then it may be available on my Fine Art America site ( in link above). If it isn’t, I can most likely make it so (you can let me know in the contact me box).

Another question I get a lot is, will you take my pictures?. I am happy to do so most of the time but haven’t yet figured out if and or what to charge you. Most people don’t realize exactly how much work and time is involved in the production of beautiful photos. I wont count the cost of the equipment since I would buy it anyway. So while I do it for fun as my most enjoyable hobby, sometimes I get bogged down in endless editing of someones photos and that becomes work. And as such, I think I should be paid.
